As the son of founders Jim and June Ward, Michael has been the driving force and vision behind the establishment and development of the Group as it is today. He is Head of Operations within the Group and oversees all Group trading activities from the Patrick Brompton HQ where he interfaces with most major customers daily.
Paul works closely with Michael Ward to supervise the quality of trading and conduct at all operational centres. He oversees driver relationships, training and all workshop and external repair facilities as well as legal compliance with Operator Licensing requirements.
As Commercial Director of the Walking Floor Division of J&J Ward Ltd, Pat works closely with Michael Ward and Paul Tolmie to supervise the service provided by the walking floor trailer fleet at all Group operating centres. He also has responsibility for the acquisition of new business for both the walking floor and conventional tipper fleets.
Founder of Hare Bulk Haulage Ltd, Mick has responsibility for the day-to-day trading of Hare Bulk Haulage Ltd and DH Pearson Ltd, working together with Michael Ward and Paul Tolmie.
The Group is now remarkably flexible and can handle an extensive range of diverse products. It is also willing to commit capital to provide any particularly specialised equipment required by customers.
