As part of Bulk Logistics continued investment into infrastructure and vehicles, late 2018 – 2019 so far, has seen the fleet size increasing, enabling more loads to be carried through the Bulk Logistics network at any one time.
The latest additions to the fleet have been;
- 11 new 108Cu.M 140Cu.Yd Walking floor trailers supplied by BMI trailers as part of an ongoing fleet expansion program
- 10 New plank sided tipping trailers supplied by David Taylor commercials via Wilcox Trailers ltd
- 12 New Scania R500 6×2 tractor units January 2019 as a part of an ongoing fleet renewal program

The Group announces that:
a) it has acquired the whole of the issued share capital of Hare Bulk Haulage Ltd from the Hare family and that Michael Hare will re-join D H Pearson as the Head of Operations, the role he relinquished to form Hare Bulk Haulage Ltd, thereby strengthening the Group Operational Management Team and
b) it has acquired the vehicle and trailer assets and all goodwill of WG & H Horsley partnership, a long established and respected conventional tipper based business operating 11 vehicles from York, into a new company, Horsley Bulk Transport Ltd, formed specifically to make this acquisition.

The Group secures a £10m facility from Secure Trust Bank (STB) to assist in the reorganisation and development of the Group in accordance with its revised three-year business plan to grow by a combination of acquisition and organic growth.
